From September 17 to 20, 2026, the Chinese Thoracic Society (CTS) 2026 Annual Meeting was held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. With the theme “Focusing on High-Quality Clinical Research and Improving Respiratory Health Care,” the meeting brought together numerous experts and industry colleagues from the respiratory field across China. Respircare exhibited its full range of respiratory therapy products and hosted an “Airway Clearance” symposium, engaging in in-depth exchanges with attending experts on airway management technologies.
Symposium Focuses on Airway Clearance Technology with Multiple Expert Presentations
On the afternoon of September 17, the “Airway Clearance” symposium organized by Respircare was held. The symposium was moderated by Professor Xie Lixin and Professor Pan Pinhua. Four experts—Xiao Kun, Tan Wei, Duan Kailiang, and Wang Jimei—gave presentations on the combined application of OLE (Oscillatory Lung Expansion) and MIE (Mechanical Insufflation-Exsufflation), covering consensus interpretation, clinical value sharing, and live demonstration of the integrated device.
The symposium covered a systematic review of the Expert Consensus on the Clinical Application of Mechanical Airway Clearance Technology, an analysis of the clinical application of the OLE+MIE combined approach in clearing deep airway secretions, and a demonstration of operational procedures based on actual cases. Attending experts engaged in thorough discussions on the standardized application of mechanical airway clearance technology, from theory to practice.
Booth Showcases Full-Scenario Respiratory Therapy Solutions
During the exhibition, the Respircare booth showcased a full range of products covering both medical institution and home care scenarios. The airway clearance device was a key exhibit, integrating OLE (Oscillatory Lung Expansion) and MIE (Mechanical Insufflation-Exsufflation) functions to achieve a complete airway clearance loop from “loosening” to “expelling.” The device can reach deep segmental bronchi that are difficult to access with conventional suctioning or bronchoscopy, offering a new technical approach for clinical airway management.
In addition to the airway clearance device, the booth also displayed high-flow respiratory humidification therapy devices, non-invasive ventilators, respiratory humidifiers, portable oxygen concentrators, and other products, covering multiple scenarios from clinical respiratory support to home-based chronic disease management. Attending experts exchanged views with the Respircare team on the technical features and clinical application scenarios of the products.
